One attendee asked the panel who they’d wanted to see killed in "Infinite Crisis."
Didio stated baldly, “I wanted Nightwing dead. Follow Nightwing’s story- he was supposed to die!”

I hate Didio for turning comics into an American Idol competition. He says that no more ongoing series will be launched, only miniseries. If a series sells well enough, it will be followed by another miniseries and so on til the property is no longer profitable. What a gutless way to run a comic book company. Plus, now he's saying that the new DCU Earth is 99.9% the exact same as it was pre-Infinite Crisis. Well what the heck was the point of Crisis then? And after stirring up such controversy with his Batwoman announcement, he has said that there are no plans to give her an ongoing title nor a miniseries. Then what was the point of all the hoopla? This guy needs to show the fans greater respect.

It was again explained that Nightwing was originally intended to die in Infinite Crisis, and that you can see the arc that was supposed to end with his death in the series. After long discussions, the death edict was reversed, but the decision was made that, if they're keeping him, he would have to be changed. The next arc of the ongoing series will further explain the changes, it was said.
*rolls eyes* grrr
That's it... I'm taking a page out of Hawkgirl's book (animated Hawkgirl) and going to Dan Didio's office with an electric mace.
