I'm working on putting these actual posts together, so in the meantime, check this link out - it is awesome, as soon as I can make a costume I'm going to join.

Please tell me you're talking about the Silver Age Batgirl and not the S&M Batgirl.

It's really not -I need to find someone who can sew. I'm not sure if I want to wear a wig either, I could always dye my hair auburn as a compromise. A wig would be awful in FL.

What's sad? Are you saying you wouldn't dress up as a superhero and try to inspire kids in hospitals and such? Having met these guys a FCBD I think that it's great how much people had fun meeting them - on the Brandon comic book store's website there's a great picture of a little kid on Superman's shoulder - look at Alex Ross - he still has a picture of himself with Superboy at age 7. If I can help get little kids inot comics by dressing up as a hero or even make them smile, it's totally worth it. You're getting cynical in your old age =P

Thought Jim would be happy that you chose Batgirl instead of someone who shows a little more skin like Zatanna or Wonder Woman. You know how protective dads can be.

I would have to be inebriated to dress as a super-heor and then that would destroy the overall image. But I'd rather you did the BG Batgirl and not the S&M Batgirl.

What do you all (both) think of the new Batwoman?

They already have a Wonder Woman - she's tall and amazon like and everything. She actually looked a lot like the woman who models for WW for Alex Ross. The girl who dress up as Dark Phoenix does an awesome Jean Grey (there's some other Jean Grey who's not as good). I don't know what I think of the new Batwoman as all I've seen of her was at the end of Infinite Crisis.

You can't believe anything you see in the background of Crisis. All 7 Soldiers are there and one of them was supposed to be dead by then. So guess who the new Batwoman is? I have it on insider information that Batwoman is either going to be Renee Montoya or Lady Shiva. Is this really what we want? Damaged goods putting on spandex and playing hero? I ask you this: could Mark Grayson's father ever come back to Earth and be a superhero again? Then how could Montoya or Shiva??
