Head to the shop, get the free comics, raise a mug of grog in a toast to the shopkeep, chat up the pros who appear for signings, eavesdrop on the fanboys who try and get the Archie artist(on hand to do sketches) to do a Betty & Veronica Girls Gone Wild drawing for them, head home with my stash, decide which books are going to which nephews and nieces, start drinking in celebration of the holiday, have a nice, big dinner, head out to find a hot blond who doesn't mind putting on the Harley costume I've got and spend the rest of the evening into the wee hours of the morn re-enacting the leaked private sex tapes of Joker & Harley's Mad Night In Vegas. Best holiday ever? You better believe it!
I prefer my wife in the Black Canary custome.
We went to the comic store and saw Superman, Hal and Kyle Lanterns, Storm Troopers, Black Canary, Electra,Wonder Woman, Wolverine and also Darth Vader chasing children. I wish I had brought the camera. We got Future Shock and JLU free comics as well as the Supremna/Batman/Supergirl graphic novel. Then we spent the day at D&D and got treated to dinner at Red Lobster. All and all a great holiday :)
