Babs
You know what makes me happy? Barbra Gordon as Batgirl. 
I know that the recent issue of Birds of Prey may just be a cruel hoax. BUT with Cassie Cain out of the picture I am hopeful. I would be insanely happy if Babs was Batgirl again. I am probably setting myself of for severe disappointment, but hey, I'm a sucker.

I'm with you all the way, would like to see that myself!
She has always been my Batgirl and I never liked Cassie as the S&M costume Batgirl. Babs as Batgirl is the best. I (perhaps stupidily) hold out hope that one day this will be so again (fingers crossed).
I thought Babs was confined to a weelchair?
Arielle - She is, but recently when she had the "brainic" virsus she started to have sensation in her toes and that was a year ago - so hope springs eternal.

That and the fact that in the recent Birds of Prey issue Babs was notably "busy" on the night that Batgirl returns - in Babs old costume with seemingly reddish hair. So it looks as if we're being set up for Babs return to field work, but I'm afraid it may all be build up and something awful will happen like Batwoman deciding to be Batgirl instead *sigh* But like Jim says, hope springs eternal.
I'm with you about hoping Babs would be the same Batgirl recently seen roaming around Gotham. But, I, too, am probably setting myself up for disappointment as well. My guess is that it's either going to be post-52 Kate Kane OR maybe they'll introduce Betty Kane who was Bat-Girl (as opposed to Babs' less hyphenated Batgirl).
ALL-STAR BATGIRL next year by Geoof Johns and JG Jones, with Babs as BATGIRL.
So you can be happy. For at least 6-issues anyway.
