For some reason I find the idea of Wonder Woman pledging alligence to the American flag amusing. Maybe it's because she's not American. Oh well, happy Independence Day anyway :)

Though on Diana being an American, I think Cooke did that ebst where she was awarded honorary citizenship at some big ceremony before the politicians started ignoring her.
(I'm surprised no one's mentioned that insight over on my thread. One of the speech indicators on "I am an American" is actually pointing to her.)
Even so, she was still supposed to be a foreign dignitary, so I still find it a bit odd. I guess back when the war propaganda was going on she was just considered an immigrant.
